The Sport Class

The Sport class is the home of high performance kit-built aircraft. To be eligible, at least 5 kits have to have been produced and delivered to customers. The cubic inch limit is 650 or smaller. Just added this year was the Super Sport class. The rules, including the 5 kit stipulation, are basically the same, but engines up to 1,000 cubic inches are allowed. Top speeds in the 385mph range are attained by the quickest racers in Sport.
